Shnat Sherut 50 Plus is a growing national initiative bringing adults aged 50+ into communities across Israel for sustained, meaningful contribution.
What began with 58 volunteers in three groups in the Gaza Envelope has already grown to 71 volunteers across four groups, now active in both southern and northern communities, with plans to expand to 100 volunteers across six groups by September 2026.
This new 6-month international track, developed with HaBayta, with the support of the Jewish Agency, opens the programme to English-speaking participants from abroad.
